Dentistry takes a toll....

The fast pace, constant responsibility, decision fatigue, awkward postures, and precision required in daily clinical practice can lead to physical pain, chronic stress, and eventual burnout.

But here’s what’s often missing…

We were never taught how to metabolize stress in a healthy way.

So it accumulates — in the body — showing up as tension, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, and pain.

And over time, this impacts not only how we practice… but how we feel in our work, our relationships, and our lives.

Just as brushing and flossing help prevent dental disease, simple daily mindfulness and nervous system practices help prevent and ease:

  • Musculoskeletal strain
  • Chronic stress and overwhelm
  • Mental fatigue and burnout

In this experiential session, Dr. Diana Liu—
long time dentist and founder of Rest to Thrive™—weaves together over a decade of experience in mindfulness, nervous system science, and restorative practices.

You’ll uncover the missing link between stress, pain, and burnout—

and more importantly… you’ll experience it firsthand.

Because true resilience isn’t about pushing through....

It’s about learning how to downregulate, restore, and build capacity so you can juggle it all without burning out.

Expect to leave this session with:

  • Less physical tension and stiffness
  • Greater calm and mental clarity
  • Practical tools to metabolize stress in real time

A new way of practicing dentistry that feels  sustainable and fulfilling!

“Career in dentistry can get chaotic and stressful; that can take a toll on ourselves, our patients, and our family. More often than not, we are not even aware of the mental, emotional, and physical depletion it has on ourselves, and how that affects our loved ones. Working with Diana has helped me and our dental team become more grounded and present so that we can have more fulfilling work and home lives. I highly recommend every dental professional to take a deep breath and invest in the health of our careers. The connection to our mind and body is paramount to our success and longevity.”

“Diana has created a truly transformative experience. I LOVE Diana's calming voice, her approach, and the way she incorporates so many tools to help us all. It was a really supportive community and I am grateful for the opportunity!”

Dr. Diana Liu is a long time practicing dentist and the founder of Rest to Thrive™, a wellness education company devoted to helping ambitious professionals build success without sacrificing their body, health, or nervous system.

She believes that true success isn’t just what your career looks like—
it’s how it feels in your body, your energy, and your life.

After experiencing burnout, chronic pain, and insomnia firsthand, Dr. Liu recognized a critical gap in high-performance, high-stress professions: we’re taught how to achieve and work hard, but not how to sustain.

Her work centers on what she calls the missing link to sustainable success
mindfulness, nervous system care, and learning how to source real, restorative energy rather than running on stress and fumes.

With over a decade of experience studying and teaching mindfulness-based approaches, and as a certified yoga and meditation teacher, she delivers workshops, programs, and retreats for dental professionals and high-performing teams.

Through her work, Dr. Liu supports individuals and organizations in shifting from burnout and overdrive… to a way of working and living that is resilient, fulfilling, and truly sustainableboth in their careers and at home!
